As you can imagine, at AgePros, those working in eldercare are a particular object of admiration. Today, nearly 5.5 million people work in eldercare. (And that doesn’t include the many new specialty professions focused on the well-being of older people. Some organizations estimate that between now and 2034, there will be over 9 million eldercare positions to fill. Positions that directly impact the health and happiness of older people and their loved ones. Positions defined by passion and professionalism. How do we thank those who work older adults, and their families, in professions defined not by 9 to 5? Where many job titles only hint at all the job demands? Where above and beyond is not the exception, but the heartfelt rule?
